created by an Atlanta girl

with a full-time job and a passion for this side hustle, free in the lines is a constant reminder to be more than expected.

the idea

regardless of who we are, people are faced with limitations; lines that surround our lives. they can range from responsibility and money to time and skill or any combination. but those lines are for reference, not to hold a person back. free in the lines was created to encourage you look at each new opportunity and challenge yourself to push past the lines and thrive.

custom requests closed.

i love creating custom portraits for you & loved ones of those sweet furry faces, but due to the larger number of orders i've closed custom orders for the holidays. thank you so much for your continued support of my small business.

seen around town

Bark and Board

Bark and Board of Brookhaven's entry wall is covered in free in the lines work - if you need some place to drop Pepe off, Bark and Board is a favorite of ours (and not just for the art).

When we were building our new location, we sought artwork that would reflect warmth, friendliness and an overall happy feeling as our guests walked through our doors. Lexi’s art pulls all those emotions together and helped create a truly beautiful gallery for our grand entrance!” Bark & Board Brookhaven

GA Veterinary Rehabilitation

this is exciting news - GA Veterinary Rehabilitation (GVR) is now showcasing my work as prints and large stickers in multiple patient rooms. i worked with Evelyn (owner), her interior designer & MyWonderfulWalls to create the perfect collection of pups and kittens. if your furry friend is in need of physical therapy for pain or fitness, Evelyn and team will treat you right. read more about the project.

i have been so honored to be hosted throughout town. previous locals include Torq Cycle (my fav Atlanta cycling studio) & Rejuvenation at Ponce City Market.

recent eats

reviews for noshing both in and out of town because who doesn't love something amazing to eat. be sure to follow me on Yelp to keep up with where we find our favorites.

Cooks & Soldiers {atlanta}

need a romantic, chic spot in west midtown for a date night or girl's night or just because? Cooks & Soldiers is a great spot located on a corner of the Westside Provisions/White Provisions.

Ginya Izakaya {atlanta}

the BEST ramen place in town!

BeetleCat {atlanta}

Ford Fry has done it again - BeetleCat is charming, delicious and an favorite of ours. if you're in the inman park area, stop by for oyster shooters, decadent cocktails and rich flavors.

Omni William Penn hotel {pittsburgh}

if you ever want to feel like you're in one of Scott Fitzgerald's stories this is a must. we chose this hotel by chance, needing a place to stay after our AirBnB cancelled on us. i couldn't be happier with the experience.

Bellina Alimentari {atlanta}

we were strolling by last night, as we have done many nights, with the intent to browse and not buy anything but the aroma and displays got the better of us. we left with $16 worth of cheese, a wonderful customer experience and are already deciding what we will get on our next trip!
